Too many young girls having babies

May 30, 2013

During the past five years, the rate of teenage girls becoming pregnant has declined substantially in all but two states. You guessed it: West Virginia is one of them (the other is North Dakota....

99 I am done. Thanks for all the great advices from everyone, it was great to talk to some rationlize people from back home. It is never going to get better until people look in the mirror and take responsibility for their own doings that made them what they are today. WV will always be perceived as a "Backwards" state. BK, Guy, Random,Denver and Many dem Hope you all have a great healthy and peaceful life. Got to close some lose ends before we leave in the morning. ( sorry Denver not to Alaska, Too cold) Remington

Denver please don't be so juvenile. Everyone knows has at one time or another heard Beck, Maddow and Chris Mathews knows which way he lean. Everyday I went into the DFAC on BAF in Afghanistan they had Maddow on TV. That may the reason for my weight loss while I was there. I lost my appetite listening to her.

So for you I will clarify. I do not by my own choice sit and listen to any of the afore mentioned individuals.

Again many dems just judging by what is posted here you are the only one that falls into the category as pathetic. You seem like an angry bitter old man who has a chip on your shoulder for some reason and take out on any one who doesnt share your opinion.

Remington, I wish you all the peace in the world. But you type will never have peace, you will always be plagued with your hate, bigotry and discrimination. You have always proclaimed yourself to be superior to the average American. You and your like are the prime examples of what is wrong with America today. You believe that you and your KIND are so superior, that you are not accountable to the rest of the AMERICAN SOCIETY OR THE WORKING CLASS... You sir, are a PATHETIC example of AMERICAN humanity....

Well Manydem, with your ranting raving finger pointing is exactly what's wrong with the people in Washington. Still blaming the Honorable G.Bush. Everyone is tired of your same rant everyday. Take all that time that you find faults, turn them into solutions. Some of you use this forum as your playground of bullying people in thinking on your terms. Too bad you could not do it face to face like a real man. In 15 years I will be in the retire age, I hope the God, when I come to WV, I can have some peace.

Dennie, thanks for all the laughs as you would never make it as a detective, keep blaming others for the problems. Manydem, stop assuming everything because you are always wrong. My parents never paid one cent for my education, I paid for it through sacrifices. Solution: i think welfare for anyone should last only 2 years! This is long enough to get a job or an 2 year degree. I also think that all welfare people should be drug tested before receiving checks. Third, if a young lady has another child, she should pay a fine or give the child up for adoption Now lets hear SOLUTIONS!

I dont listen to either one. So I cant answer any question about there stances. But the liberal media journalists far out weigh the conservative ones.

Manydem you are mistaken me for the typical right winger. I am a union member, and a Veteran that votes democrat. But I will not blame the fall of this great country on the corporate rich nor will I blame it on the welfare state. Yes we need to fix some things but it will never ever make everyone happy. Besides that I don't see where you are getting that this great country has fallen. Changed? Yes, stumbled a little? Yes, Fallen? NO WAY!!

Remington, you prove my point, in my last post exactly. You on the RIGHT WING, have a very NARROW MINDED or SHOULD I SAY NARROW SIGHTED view of American society. You just can't step aside and look around that LITTLE tree. This article is actually about "YOUNG MOTHERS" But because of your and others vicious attacks, it has become about welfare and American economics. Not all, or for that matter, many or most West Virginians or other AMERICAN WORKING CLASS have the ability to pack up N go to USC or the Tokyo Institute. HOWEVER, WE are very, very, happy for your great education that was probably handed to you by Mom & DAD on a silver platter. As for your threats to come back to West Virginia and retire in LUXURY. Pleas do us a favor and stay in California with the Wealthy Elite SNOBS.

I agree 99 100%! I left WV to come out West to find employment. Went to college to get my Master's at both USC and Tokyo Institute of Technolgy in Japan. If I were to stay in WV, I would never had finances to get my dreams. I can return in 10-15 years to retire in luxury. My point? Stop blaming other people for your misfortunes. I am tired of the blame game. I left the State and all my friends just so that I could give my family the best life possible.

Tired of people crying about what some one has done to them. Do something about it!!!

The "free ride" that you talk about is insignificantly SMALL in the overall scheme of AMERICAN ECONOMICS. As I have stated many times before: "there IS welfare abuse, always has been, always will be"... But you, like MANY {especially on the right wing} can't see the ""FOREST"" because of that one "LITTLE" tree blocking your view... YES, I call you stupid, ignorant, hypocrites because of biased, bigoted, hate and contempt of your fellow man. YOU adamantly, refuse to take a step aside, and look around that LITTLE tree and see the whole forest. Instead, you want to chop down and kill that LITTLE tree that helps many deserving people, because it has a few bad branches....

Many Dems you need to practice what you preach. You say "we need to stop attacking each other" yet you are the only one on here that acts like a crazy person who goes off on rants and degrades other people.

If people truly wanted to better themselves they would get off there butts and work harder. They would educate themselves to make them more employable. I understand that there are some people that are mentally or physically unable to but when do stop making excuses? When do we hold people accountable? How long do we continue to give people a free ride?
