Congratulations to the 13 Seniors who are missing their graduation ceremony in order to compete for this state title. I have watched most of these boys play ball since they were in Tball, and will miss seeing them on the field next year, but I am looking forward to cheering them on as they go after that long over due STATE CHAMPIONSHIP Good luck to all of you.

Good luck, South! I am sure there will be a lot of South supporters at the game on Friday! As a side note, I know nothing of Roger Thompson's knowledge of baseball or coaching ability, and we can talk about "what might have been" for years. However, it takes a LOT more than knowledge of the game to be able to coach it. Don't be a hater -- be happy for the seniors who will be playing in the state championship semi's at Power Park. What an experience!!!

It has been since 1975 since the Patriot baseball team has been to the state tournament I think it was bound to happen sooner than later. I wasn't a Randy Edge fan at all and I am sure NOT a fan of Matt Null. The job should have been Roger Thompson's. Thompson has forgot more about the game than Null will EVER know.
