Why drag politics in to everything. Its a existing business moving. I wish them the best and love their pies.

Oh my goodness. I haven't thought of the Corner Cafe in years! We always loved it. I didn't even know that they had moved to Staunton Avenue. This place was a favorite of mine when I was growing up and my mom would take me there for lunch. Absolutely wonderful "country cookin'" food. I wish the owners the best of luck on their new venture. If I get back to Parkersburg, I will be sure to stop in and eat there. The other restaurants I long for (but can't do anything about) are Traveler's, GC Murphy (in the basement) lunch counter, Grant's 5&10 lunch counter and the lunch counter at 2 of the drug stores downtown. Very, very happy memories.
