The "Bad Box" should have lost her teaching license pure and simple. This Harlem Shake controversy is nonsense.

Both teachers deserve another chance. End of story. Rodney I am sure you are perfect in every way. So you can probably say that. I'll bet Mr. Youngs conduct and professionalizm changes now though. It better he will not get another chance after the, eat your own, parents get to him.

It was the wrong call. Especially since it was a sexual-laced incident. Why do all of the rest of the teachers have to sign a Code of Conduct agreement, as this guy did, but he gets off for his behavior. The BOE has set a precedent, they are just too PC to notice it. Next comes the Bad Kid Fort teacher. Does she deserve the same treatment? Time will tell. One squeaky wheel just got greased, but there are other wheels out there. This incident has made Wood County Schools a JOKE statewide. If the proper decision had been made, everyone would not have been pleased, but the system would have gained some respect for doing the right thing. Make no mistake---there are some out there who think what he did is OK. That is the problem. There are no absolutes in society anymore--just shades of gray. The excuse that he is just a bit older than his students is pure bull. Teachers are NOT students' friends. They can be friendly, but cannot be friends. He has a lot to learn.
