Obama focused on urban voters

April 29, 2013

You may not have seen the last of Kent Leonhardt, as I suggested after the election last fall. Leonhardt may be planning to run for the West Virginia Senate next year....

I wonder how trying to buy votes in an election worked for the "conservatives" in 2012?

This commentary is ignorant of the political process. The majority of taxpayers live in cities. Government spends money where the people and taxpayers reside...West Virginia has done well in the past getting far more tax dollars into the state than it has paid out (thanks to Senators Bryd and Rockerfeller). Blaming President Obama for the ills of rural America is selfish and wrong headed.

Throughout human history, the biggest portion of the governmental dole is provided to cities(population centers).Politicians will always cater to the urban for votes.

You are right Suttle. He deserves blame for the ills of metropolitan America as well.

Obama is focused on nothing but his own interest and his cronies, not voters or average citizens. 2 terms in and the Bush terms are now being called his "legacy". WOW

A recent documented report points out that in the U.S. election of 2012 black voters outnumbered white voters. Many white voters stayed home. Where do most blacks live? They do not live in rural areas by and large. Was the 2012 election racist?
