What a joke - how many people really realize the Federal Reserve is NOT federal? It is a private institution owned by people like the Rockefellers and Rothchilds - the U.S. pays them for our money - they collect the payment thru taxes. Kennedy wanted to do away with the middle man and print our own money, much like Jefferson did. Its messed up people. The rich own the banks so no matter what gov. does - they just keep getting richer.

Yeah a democracy or a republic is imperfect...even wasteful. A democracy even has to allow its citizens to vote. Let's save money and just have a dictatorship then everyone will be as happy just like it was Christmas. Even the money would always be printed without creases.

I work for a living, I haven't seen a hundred dollar bill in years. This is ridiculous.

They are still printing the old style Benjamins at an astounding rate. The old style is much easier for terrorist countries to counterfeit, but that's not much different than what our government is doing. Print the money, give it to the banks, let them buy toxic paper and prop up the Stock market with fraudulent buying. At least the last administration sent some of the money directly to the people and allowed them to spend a little. The last thing this administration wants is ANY oversight in its currency manipulation.

You know it might be a long shot but wouldn't it be nice to see some outside body gain some oversight over the operations of the government and be tasked with increasing efficiency and decreasing waste?

I mean find the best company who's operations are run impeccably allow them the necessary leeway to make the changes our government needs.

If they decided to do that it'd take 10 years and 5 committees to just decide whether or not they wanted to look at doing that. Given how its all currently ran.
