I guess ignorance IS bliss. I heard about the "letter" but did not read it until after I saw the play. My wife bought tickets, and another couple went with us. I had never attended a show at the Guild, and did not know the whole premise of "the Full Monty". After actually attending, (not just guessing as some letter writers do), we really truly enjoyed the whole thing! The actors were very good, the music was very good, and the entire production was very entertaining. The audience laughed a lot, not just those little snicker laughs either, full blown belly laughs. I think everyone left with a smile. The only "Farce" is if you don't go see it for yourself. I am still amazed at the amount of work all of those people did just for the love of the stage. Great Job Guild!
