This attorney is a joke. A jury trial.. really? This ambulance chaser only wants to get out of the charges against him. Mr. White is not above the law and should be held accountable for his actions. He chose to act as he did. Case closed off to jail.

To the imbeciles commenting about the Sheriff Dept. you must have had an encounter also. My advice.. stay out of trouble. If I were a cop, I also would be very careful approaching anyone I pulled over. NO Exceptions. Good job Sergeant Allen!

impeachobama. You are wrong but if he would have reacted in a offensive manner I'll bet eating a taser or bullet would make him think twice about having not regard for the law. Just because he is a lawyer makes no differance. By the way, if I am not mistaking, anytime someone runs from the cops and then finally pulls over after a chase, they are suppose to pull their gun.

As an attorney, this idiot should have known better. Cops, lawyers, judges, etc. should get an even stiffer penalty than the common criminal simply for the hyprocrisy factor and the belief they are above the law.

He shouldn't have driven like a moron in the first place! When a police car lights up behind you, you pull over and do what the officer asks, like any decent citizen would.

The attorney should pay his fine and forget about it.

He screwed up, but now he has made an ass out of himself by asking for a jury trial. Lawyers!! Geesh!!

I wonder if White will be able to remove his TV commercials since he's getting so much free publicity?

Let me get this straight - He passed on a 2 lane road, as I'm sure many cycle riders do. Then waited for a safe parking lot to pull over instead of stopping on a 2 lane, winding road with no berm? He then calmly asked to remove his helmet before laying down, an action he could have just went ahead and did but knew enough to make no actions without consent first. Seems pretty reasonable to me! He then was forcibly arrested!? Come on!! Put yourself in his shoes! There was no reason for arrest here, this is ridiculous!! You people saying he deserves this and should have to pay more for knowing better should be ashamed!! You are probably the same one's posting in social media about our rights being taken away from us by the government! You have no qualms about throwing someone under the bus and having their rights being taken though! Don't complain, then, when you yourself are arrested for no just cause!

rightous, I have been arrested, pulled over for speeding on a two lane road, stoped for crossing the double yellow lines, jay walking, fighting. Never have I had the gun pulled on me. But in some of my younger ignorance, the cops probably should have pulled the gun on me. LOL. But never the less, Bruce is an ambulance chaser so sorry about his luck, maybe he could find a good honest attorney like Rick Dunbar.

These actions coming from a bottom feeding attorney who made his fortune at the expense of others.Do these words sound familiar?Blatant disregard for other vehicles on the roadway;failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead;failed to exercise due care;failed to operate the vehicle at a safe speed and safe distance given the conditions then present;and failed to keep a proper lookout;all in violation of statutes, ordinances and rules of the road.If you pay any attention to vehicles(Maserati,Audi,Ducati)he drives you would know this is not out of character.Good luck with your jury trial. We'll be watching this outcome.

Wow... Some of you really need to open your eyes and realize that 1. when you break the law you are going to be punished. and 2. when you run from the police, or the police are going into any situation "blind" they are trained to pull thier weapons. This is a scare tactic and part of the training they must go through in order to be in a job that deals with criminal activity. Even though you may not see them draw thier guns, I can assure you that everytime someone is pulled over for any reason the officer has his or her gun out until the threat is non existant... Kudos to Sgt. Alen for not allowing anyone to be above the law!

Rightous.... You make me laugh. I know many people, and don't know of any that were arrested without a reason. Only people that agree with your type of opinion are either law breakers themself, or a friend this ambulance chaser.

Maybe you should put yourself in an officers place. Just how comfy would you be approaching someone you just pulled over?

Ask an officer how many times they have had to wrestle with these type of idiots? Believe I read in the paper a few years back that while wrestling with a model citizen that the guy tried to get Sgt Allen's gun from his holster.

People like righteous just pizz me off. Still bet his first call, when in trouble, will be the police.

So he PASSED a cop,on a double yellow line and keeps going. Hope the jury throws the book at him. Was he high on something? I can't imaging doing anything that stupid unless I wasn't in my right mind.

This one will NEVER even go to trial unless he's bent on being "right" or some such. It is ironic, though, that someone who drives like an idiot is the very one chasing ambulances to make money off people who were allegedly injured by folks driving like idiots.

Flwannabe- you din't know anyone ever arrested without cause and oeople like me*****you off? Have you never heard the term 'wrongful arrest'? I didn't maje it up! It happens all the time and oeople like me are the ones whom can look at things neutral and say come on that's b.s.! I don't know Mr. White nor have I ever been arrested. I do know many local law enforcement officers and none of them, do I believe, would draw their gun on an individual sitting on the ground after riding to a safe area to pull over!

righteous1:He passed Sgt Allen on a double yellow line and then passed two other vehicles. I don't think to many cycle riders pass vehicles in a no passing zone. He could have removed his helmet as soon as he got off the bike instead of waiting for Sgt Allen to arrive. He was just trying to play it up to make Sgt Allen look bad. The only smart thing he did was hire George as his attorney.

****! You obviously don't ride, I do! I don't ride for pleasure much anymore but have passed many times! Riders seek curved roads like this and pass all the time on a double yellow! lol It really is commin practice for any rider! Ask any! Besides,it says nothing if whether this was even a marked vehicle!? If it wasn't then the proper then to do is to go to a very public parking lot before stopping!

Go Bruce! and he wasn't an ambulance chaser at the beginning of his career when he represented someone that I know, and there was no charge for his services.

He shouldn't break the law but the situation seems like harmless folly; he was the one most at risk from this risky behavior.

It is unbelievable to read that riders pass on a double line all the time...not true, at least not good riders. Responsible riders do not run from the cops and when stopped do not become disrespectful and uncooperative when asked to do what the officer is asking of him.

What if Brice had hit an oncoming car while passing on a double line and mamed or killed someone.....should he not be held accountable and responsible, and pay through the nose for his irresponsible actions? You bet he would rush to the side of the victim if another moron had done what he could have done, and sued his ass off in the name of his client. Face it Bruce, you messed up big time....take your medicine and do not try to put yourself above the law. You give riders in general a bad name....you inconsiderate idiot! Deputy Allen should have tazered your "Dumb Ass" for fleeing and being uncooperative. Thank God you didn't wreck and kill anyone.....Park the bike!
