Sadly, as a nation we learned nothing from prohibition. The fastest way to get people to do something is to tell them they can't. Just like drinking, a certain percentage of people will do drugs(legal or not) and a certain percentage won't.Some European countries that have decriminalized drugs have had useage drop, violence related to drugs drop, and revenue for the gov't increase. Maybe we should take note.

Bake, this blue character that rides around the police force (changing his log on name again) likes to talk problems as I just got back from surfing in my make believe ocean this morning but didn't drown. Drinking and doing drugs... Not my thing either, just another excuse to do to get rid of boredom. Go to the gym, run in the woods or talk a walk for 30 minutes a day. You will feel better.

Blue Pkb does not have as much experience in dealing with these types of drug pushers as the LAPD has These people are branching out to "weaker" enforced areas. We have the Border Patrol, ICE, Sheriff, city and the Highway Patrol. We have weekly wars on our streets and you?

They are going for easy pickings...good luck

I think the problem with pot vs. hard drugs is that pot (I believe this) is a gateway drug, sort of like beer would be a gateway drink.

I've done both. The first thing I ever drank was beer, but then I started to wonder if hard liquor would be "better". So, I tried liquor.

Likewise, when one smokes pot, the question is, would H, coke, meth, ect. be "better" (better meaning more of a high).

I know how lucky I was. I quit drinking because I didn't like it. However, after I tried pot for a little while, I hated it, and I never, ever, even wanted to try something more. I was afraid, thank the Good Lord, to try anything other than pot.

This was 40+ years ago! Right now my only vices are Coca Cola and chocolate. Would I ever drink or smoke pot again?? Not on your life, buster!!

Wow great job figuring out that one Pkb Police Dept. a month ago I made a statement on this forum about the drug cartels being involved. It really took you guys this long to figure that out?

I also said not to get involve with them as they are very ruthless. Let the FBI handle it.

there's a reason the one owner of the one mexican eatery was busted for some tax fraud. soon as people really understand that those places are nothing more than money laundering enterprises used by the cartel's, which just happen to operate at a profitt for them too boot. get rid of the illegals and so too will their own special kind of problems disappear.

A friend of mine said 'Marijuana is safe and not addictive'. He should know because he's smoked pot for years.

These drug cartels are likely "Illegal Immigrants" or what our pro-amnesty politicians refer to as "Undocumented Aliens".

There is another attempt in Congress to pass an "Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA)". This legislation will include "Amnesty for +/-11,000,000 foreigners who entered country illegally. Previous (IRCA) failed because the Federal Government failed to secure our boeders.

Our system provides "Illegal Immigrants" many of the same benefits as American citizens including: Head Start, Supplemental food programs, Mediacal treatment and labor and delivery service, etc.

These top drugs of abuse KILL people. Pot is another problem. People who smoke a lot of it destroy their ability to think and work. They want to lay about eating, giggling and watching thug TV.Don't decriminalize anything; just stop throwing users away in jails and set up mandatory treatment so they can become productive members of society.JMHO

The drug network is bigger than most people think it is. Dope has been around for a long time, and it will probably be around a lot longer. Well, as long as there are idiots who want to take it.
