Making donations is great - it does NOT make you a member of the FOP - I rest my case wannabe.

I'm sure glad the Legislature addressed of the SEVERE LACK OF DECENT JOBS so they can spend time on trivial matters like this.

You have to admire the politicians ability to stop wasting time on insignificant issues like healthcare, joblessness, eductation, infrastructure sustainability and energy, while honing in on the important issues of the day - like pepperoni rolls.

Why not try to get the attention away from whats really important, like trying to come with a plan to create more jobs

Should have gone with Mr. Bees. You can get pepperoni rolls anywhere, but the chips are all WV.

Objective...the difference is chili has beans...sauce does not. It's a WV thing. :-)

And why is Ms. Border favoring, albeit "jokingly", one particular brand of pepperoni rolls? Favoritism for a particular business has no place in the legislative process. Surely the legislature has more important issues to consider than pepperoni rolls. What's next? Official state toilet tissue?

Sounds good to me. They don't sell pepperoni rolls in the south and I miss being able to buy them on occasion. If they weren't making this official title they would be wasting time doing something at least equally unimportant.

Pepperoni rolls like WV's so called lawmakers should be outlawed. Nether are worth a crap, are over rated and a waste of time and money. Maybe our lawmakers should spend more time and money planning another bridge exiting our great state.

The members of the legislature were elected to serve us, not entertain us.

I agree with IFHPED. Although I don't care for ramps, they are found growing in the state and people hunt them.At least they have something to do with West Virginia. Another choice would be wild mushrooms.

I do not think WV and pepperoni rolls. I also think they are wasting valuable time - fiddling again while Rome burns. Typical politicians. They need a break ha! From what? Too bad the rest of us can't goof off at work.

Okay everyone, lighten up. FOPmember is right. Things like this put a bit of levity in an otherwise, generally dull and boring process. And too, why not have a state food? Lots of other states do.

Like IFHPED, I think ramps should be the official food. Been around a lot longer than pepperoni rolls. Fed mor families than pepperoni rolls. Alrady have a reputation..... I rest my case.

Another news story to make WV look ridiculous and backward! Lawmakers need to work on some REAL problems. Outrageous to legislate such trivial nonsence! How about jobs, lwering taxes, and tougher laws on the sexual perverts in this state?

With WV being the most obese state in the union, can't a better/healthier choice be found?

I want the lawmakers to consider making ramps the official state food. We have all kinds of ramp festivals every spring, and we are sort of famous, if you will, for ramps in WV.

I love pepperoni rolls and have one for breakfast when I have them. They are great for snacks too.

SURELY LAWMAKERS HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO THAN REGULATE TOY GUNS AT FOOTBALL GAMES AND PEPPERONI ROLLS. THEY SHOULD HAVE THEIR PAY DOCKED.

Do our lawmakers actually have nothing better to do than make pepperoni roll legislation? There are real problems that need to be addressed. Shame on you for wasting our tax money on such drivel.
