I own guns but I am not fascinated/obsessed with them.I do not understand some people's fascination/obsession with guns.Take the gun barrels out of your behinds and put your heads back in.I have a wife that fulfills my sexual needs. LOL.

I've quit searching Sen. Manchin's webpage for now, I'll just have to wait until the bill is introduced.

However, I can't believe that it'll be written so that a patient's right to possess firearms will be suspended in every case when someone enters treatment, or can't be restored when appropriate -- as "SocialismIsHere" implies.

Even a temporary suspension can be inconvenient, but I expect some sort of reasonable balance.

Some of us here do have original thoughts. Denver's question is about what's in the bill. I really don't have time to look it up, but I think I'll do that b/c I was thinking that banning firearm possession by anyone who has ever sought mental health counseling is counterproductive. The Senate has a website, it's a dot gov, so go there yourself & maybe you can find the bill before I can.

Criminals will always have guns. This will only make it tougher for law abiding citizens to own guns. I love how they hide things in legislation and we all end up paying for it just like the Obamacare that catered to the drug and insurance companies while increasing our rates and making it tougher for small businesses to survive. Wake up people and see what our government is doing to us. Turn off the tv and think for yourself.

Manchin supports the Democrats gun control bill which in effect will not allow anyone who has been to a doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, etc for anything related to mental health to own a firearm. Any Veteran who has received help dealing with PTSD from fighting in wars will not be allowed to own firearms. It wouldn't seem fair when they fight for our country but yet are not allowed to own gun upon return to our country if the legislation the dems are offering is passed. Manchin is a worm and is trying to bs his way with the people of West Virginia while supporting Obama's gun control agenda. Joe you are a turncoat.
