Merely another scare tactic, similar to last month's 'fiscal cliff' panic. This manufactured crisis will be solved in the late hours of February 28 in a heartwarming display of bipartisanship. Americans claim they want fiscal responsibility, balanced budgets, and a reduction of debt, but immediately begin yowling loudly if any cuts affect them directly.

Meanwhile your Republican lead Congress has worked 15 days this year at OBSTRUCTING everything that is proposed, while not offering anything but more tax protection for the wealthy elite and big business. Congressman McKINLEY {R}is on vacation.........

Did anybody really think you could just globally slice that much off of everything and have no effect at all? There is no mysterious "waste" line item in the budget that they can just go and say well, I guess we just won't have as much waste this year. The sequester cuts were supposed to be outrageous! Their outrageous nature was what everybody that voted on. Congressman David Mckinley, and the entire Republican Leadership, vowed would be the thing that would get them to finally reach a compromise in order to avoid them.

Now having utterly failed to reach any sort of compromise they are saying 'oh my gosh! these cuts are outrageous! I don't want these outrageous cuts! Blame the other guy! They are the one that wanted these outrageous cuts!. Not Me!'. But nobody wanted the outrageous cuts, "the fact that nobody wanted them was the whole idea."

it seems the only people on this site with low intelligence is the one party liners rather than the big picture viewers. Sad the party liners can't see the big picture. Barry has had 2 vacations in 2 months back to back. How can you even defend that?

If you personally have $2000.00 to spend on you and your family every month, and you spend $3000.00 every month,if you had no savings to make up the $1000.00 overspending every month,if eligible you may use a credit card to cover the overspending. But use of the credit card(s) have to be paid,or you will have to cut back on nonessential spending,or go bankrupt. These same options must be utilized by the federal government as well. Governmental nonessential programs must be eliminated,or the government will eventually go bankrupt.Nonessential services are those not benefitting ALL citizens of this once great nation. The government MUST begin sequestering!!!It is not a Democrat vs. Republican thing. It is a citizen thing!!!

I think some are missing the point here. Guy pretty much summed it up, but he didn't blame it on a party because it is both parties fault! You can't spend more than you make without eventually going bankrupt.

Losing a tower at your airport is never a good thing. It seems that for the whole MOV area things keep getting worse. Is the last person leaving Marietta or Parkersburg going to turn the lights out?
