Coal isn't the only dying industry. E.g. USPS (the U.S. postal service) won't be able to pay future benefits w/ future revenue. USPS is a bit different b/c Congress anticipated a problem for once, & required them to fund it all up front. Which doesn't work either.

There have been many other dying industries (whether from changing technology, or just bad management), & some of them had pension funds. All different, but in some ways all the same.

we are for the coal minor . we are fr paying our own way not everyone else's with ours. Obamaxare is killing jobs. So now we are in need of state or federal funded bailout (welfare hand out) like most democrats are all for rather then letting someone work and fund it themselves.
