The problem with bail is that Wood Co. Allows bailbondsmen. I think we was a community need to contact our legislation to determine if a bill could be introduced to eliminate bail bondsman and make it a "cash only" or property bond. I hate to see people loose jobs in this economy, however, those who post bail through "10%" of their bond, some are out committing crimes again!! Yes, this won't stop offenders from posting bail, but when family members realize that they will forfeit their cash or home to the court because the offender violates his bond; less people will be out on bond after committing a crime. Just saying.

Huge ,huge problem in this area and I suppose all over. This like a cancer eating at the very fabric of our society, destroying families and putting children at risk for abuse and neglect. The answer is NOT legalizing drugs or lessening penalties. We are already paying a price for looking the other way on pot and and having so many prescription drugs available. We are stuck in this difficult fight against substance abuse but it is one that we have to keep engaging in.

Kudo's to our law enforcement, more scum off of the streets. Obviously this idiot has no respect for the law or the people he poisons passing off his drugs.
He was just arrested a few weeks ago for pretty much the same thing and is offered bail again? Am I the only one who thinks there is something wrong with that picture. Confiscate the money he had and pay for a nice cozy 6x8 cell for him to sleep and shovels, picks and such for him to clean ditches during the day. Obviously he has no respect for the rest of us so stick him in a whole with nothing but walls around him to seriously think about a new career when his lengthy sentence is up in 30 or 40 years.
Problem is, he will most likely get a suspended setence and be doing the same thing the next day.
