There should be a different place for the retarded kids to go. What in the world do they learn. All they do is drool, fart, and burp. They go to school to give mom a break. With the normal kids they need not be. I dont care who disagrees with me,it's very true. No wonder teachers loose it. Having to deal with them all day. Keep the retarded at home. Let mom home school.

I just wonder what would happen if some people who have no sympathy for the less fortunate had to be the parent of one of them. Would he/she feel the same way about their own child? Some people just don't or never will understand. If regular education teachers don't want to deal with these children, then they shouldn't try to mainstream them into a class of uncaring, insensitive teachers and students. The rules and laws about placement and education of the mentally challenged need to be changed.

With this teacher already being suspended once from January 10-16 and now again, isn't this double jeopardy, and shouldn't this be overturned? Being suspended twice for the same thing doesn't seem like the right thing to do.

You know what, keep calling it as you see it Aaron L, stupid is as stupid does, you are a pathetic human being, and I hope you were not stupid enough to actually put your real name on here and potentially become a target by someone you might make mad by your stupid uneducated comments because it takes like 15 seconds to find out the location of somebody these days. I try to live life with a different view, mine I try to live by the golden rule as much as I can. Treat others as you would like to be treated, and before you say something stupid this post is directed toward all the stupid posts from all given articles, not just this one.

The child in question has Aspergers--he is not mentally challenged. Janette, you seem to be a very mean spirited person and I will pray for you. No matter how you feel about this debate, your comments shocked me. And wildkitty...they would hae been given up for adoption?? Wow. I just feel really sorry for people with no compassion.I understand if y ou do not think the teacher deserved to be punished- but the way these children have been talked about in these comments is just deplorable.

There are two sides to this situation, unfortunately, sad for the child, and teacher alike. Thanks to our government, these children do not get the special attention they need, by providing separate areas. While at the same time, our teachers are penallized for being "human", occassionally. What parent does not become frustrated at times with just one or two children. Can you imagine dealing with 20,or 30 every day at a time? Yes, I know teachers choose their professions, well so don't parents? That doesn't stop one from getting frustrated at times. I bet by this time, the teacher is sorry, and the child would have long forgotten if parents would be parents, and be more responsible before something occurs like this.

Any person with a real job in the real would that would do something equal to this to a CUSTOMER (that's what the students are) would get more than 5 days off work with no pay. This is just more proof how completely terrible the state of the public education system is.

Janette, I truly hope, for the sake of humanity, that you are childless, considering how you speak about a child with challenges. NO CHILD deserves to be spoken about like that, and the parents of these children don't deserve that marginalization either. Wildcitykitty, we all know you have none anyway, and adoption would have been a MUCH better option for any offspring you would have produced, challenged or not. You are both despicable.

Janette I agree with everything you stated. Mack76-you lost all you integrity the day you sold your sole to Team Beth Dean. Are the rumors that she promised you a cut true. Boy Beth Dean needs to tell her peeps to keep their beeks shut. The way you all have been blapbbing and boasting you will hurt her court case!

Aaron, I understand, I am just concerned that your over the top statements might make some maniac mad and endanger you or your family. I am not speaking of me, I am a lover not a fighter. I am all bark and no bite. You scare me to death with your radical views and I in no way would challenge you and I will stay away from you by all means possible. I am just asking that you might be nicer to others and not cast judgement so easily and maybe place yourself in others shoes before making some of your comments.

Hey Mack, some advice, Aaron is so smart I wouldn't try to outsmart him it is just not possible. I wouldn't mess with Jane either, she seems to be really super smart too. I would just pray for them so that they may become better people and not judge people so harshly.

I'm no sell out, you ignorant cow. Yep, my kid took that pic, sure did. He has a golden moral compass, and he knows something's wrong when he sees it. Evidently, the board agreed with the suspension. So say what you like, but this is well above me. As for AaronL, we may not always agree. However, unlike you, he's able to articulate and make credible points without being inflammatory...something your tiny little brain will never achieve. Carry on, sunshine, cuz you're special too.

ITSTOOLATE; I far from expect every-one or any-one to whole heartedly agree with me,or any-one else,as I've said before,my opinion and the way I see it/have seen it.Maybe I have been in those shoes, thus the reasoning for my "over the top",as you quaintly put it,comments.Yes,this IS my name,I don't have to hide behind some BS name, since I have no ego to bruise. Feel the need to change my view, sure;I'll listen to any-one, up to your last sarcastic post. I get by and take care of my own.

I'm not sure who is worse, the kid who was taught that it's ok to be a snitch, the mom who tries to paint herself off as a devoted single mom who really has a money making agenda or the mom who is using her kid to get publicity and money? What's really sad is this case has nothing to do with what is right or wrong for special needs kids. This case is all about taking advantage of someone elses mistake and trying to profit off it. All any of you have done is declair open season on every teacher in wood county and the Wood County BOE. Thanks to all of you every cent they have is going to be spent of frivilious law suits.

Hahaha... I "paint [myself] off as a devoted single mom who really has a money making agenda"...That's rich. Your commentary just went from stupid to outrageous, janeeyre. I will no longer be responding to your comments, as I find it unfair to enter a battle of wits with an unarmed person...unfair to you, that is. Have a blessed day.
