I wonder if they will use local well-trained workers or flood the community with unskilled labor?! I have heard horror stories of drilling job site problems up the river caused by unskilled labor. And, the ramshackle housing provided for these workers does nothing to enhance the communities! We need to let them know - USE LOCAL SKILLED WORKERS!

MOMMA3. You are correct. It all depends on the company that owns the plant or drilling site. MarkWest, for instance, uses alot of local man power while dominion transfers alot of theirs from down south (if you know what I mean). Cheasapeak does the same as Dominion. Williams uses alot of local workers as well. So it is about half and half. All depends on which companies get there first. Hopefully MarkWest and Williams. I know because I work in the industry.
