As far as restaurants are concerned, I know of one that will move chairs and tables together in the middle of the dining room to accommodate a large party. The waitresses must turn sideways to squeeze between chairs and nearby booths. If a fire occurred, people in the corner booths and some along the wall would have a terrible time trying to get out.
