The workers are upset afraid their good jobs will disappear. Fair enough. While they get great pay and benefits to "compensate" for the dangers they are exposed to - what does the genersl public who does not get that great pay and benefits get? Sick, through no fault of their own, just sick and possibly dying. How is that fair?

"Attorneys helping the sick"just can't let that one go.I'll respect those attorneys if they take NO fee. They already made 22 million from Dupont who made its' money by making these chemicals. If there were no money to be made there would be no attorneys involved so spare us the phony concern

"Not toxic"?!! Quotes from the article:
"..by 1961 DuPont's own researchers concluded C8 was toxic "and according to DuPont's own toxicology section chief, should be 'handled with extreme care.'"
".. internal studies showed data suggesting workers exposed to the chemical have a higher incidence of health problems than those who were not exposed to C8."
".."In 1980 DuPont had confirmed internally that C8 'is toxic,' 'people accumulate C-8,' and 'continued exposure is not tolerable,'""

i hate to break the news to you folks, but there are already DuPont plants in China,Asia, South America, and 7 I know of in Mexico. I believe they can make anything made at WW at another plant they have somewhere else.If this plant becomes too problematic, they will sell or lease out parts of it(already done)shut down lines and move the product overseas(already done). The plant is a skeleton of what it once was back in the 60s, 70s, up until the late 90s,then it started downhill with mostly contract workers and contract maintenence. Mr.Deitzler will be a very rich man, as he will get close to half of the judgement and we will be left with a plant like they have in Charleston. You can look up a lot of this on the DuPont web site. It's your choice whether or not to sue.You should examine your motives...

Well, well, the greedy, ambulance-chasing, scumbag Deitzler is at it again. And Funfun, or is it Dumdum - get your facts straight. What was found was that there is a "probable" link between certain health problems and C-8, not that it is a highly toxic chemical. In fact, it's virtually non-toxic, mainly bio-persistant. Get your facts straight, tree-hugger.

From what I hear there is a PROBABLE link between certain health problems and C8. So...there is a PROBABLE link between stupid people and the headaches I get. Where do I line up to sue?

I'm sorry, but this is getting old. It seems like more of a vendetta now than justice. Would serve this community right if DuPont closed its gates!

Figure it is getting close for Dupont to move out of West Virginia. Then watch the tumble weeds. The ambulance chaser will then sue for tumble-weed damage
