Readers, it is simply remarkable the sneering arrogance of DuPont Management and their rabid supporters and surrogates! After contaminating the drinking water and bodies of 100,000 women, men, and children in the Mid-Ohio Valley for years and covering it up and lying about it, they continue to mock the plight of those unfortunate souls afflicted with the seven diseases inextricably linked to their foul toxin, Teflon chemical C8.
And one of DuPont's public relations tricksters sniffs contemptuously about "valid science"? This fraud-mongering chemical conglomerate knows nothing about "valid science", knows nothing about decency and accountability. Imprelis, Tell Us! Toxic Teflon chemicals, tell us.
Merely the observations of one outraged citizen at large...funfun..

I think it is sad those affected by the C8 should have to sue. DuPont,if it were a truly responsible company, know the people(from the studies) that are ill due to their(DuPont) mishandling of a known carcinigen. Why don't they just take care of them??Most of these lawyers are taking close to half of any judgement. Rediculous!!

What is particularly galling is the mindset of DuPont's truculent Management. Hundreds of C8-contaminated members of the larger Parkersburg community moil and toil in the noise and fumes on the factory floor of the sprawling DuPont Washington Works. Their dedicated work helps to pay the towering $15 million-a-year pay package of DuPont Chieftess Ellen Kullman and the huge salaries of her circa 100 multi-millionaire DuPont Presidents and Vice Presidents and the like far away in Fortress Wilmington.
And then DuPont leaders and their hostile in-house lawyers and PR flacks mock the plight of sick citizens by claiming their cancers and illnesses are a function of "invalid science"! ...funfun..

Readers should recall the toxic pollution lawsuit won after a long, costly protracted fight by the good people of another West Virginia community. This is the Management of the same DuPont Company which covertly contaminated the Town of Spelter with toxic metals, arsenic, lead, cadmium and zinc for decades and THEN LIED ABOUT IT.
Recall also how then DuPont Chairman Chad Holliday and shadowy DuPont lobbyists and lawyers secretly drafted then Gov. Manchin to help DuPont its its legal appeal against the interests of 9,000 women, men and children living in Spelter! Fortunately the residents won their case and a settlement on appeal which guaranteed them medical monitoring for many years hence. ...funfun..
