These overdoses are exactly why WV could use and needs an MMJ law. Proof Positive that other states have enacted such laws and drug abuse over all goes down. Over doses are cut over half. Contact your state reps let them know you are concerned and would like them to look at sponsoring the bill proposed by MIKE MANYPENNY to help reduce these drug overdoses.

It is always sad to lose members of our family and friends and communities and congregations. time to legalize drugs and let all the idiots overdose and get it over with so we can move on. Why should my already strained tax dollars pay for more reform and rehab programs that are already failing? WAH junky wants a fix, life is so rough for them...

NobodySpecial Your attitude isn't all bad but the reduction of harm has showed in legalizing drugs or atleast decriminalizing the has resulted in less over-dose deaths. Now that is in Portugal but think about it. Every state with MMJ has reduced numbers of overdose deaths as-well. We have tthe data that proves people either wake up use less harsh drugs or smaller amounts and don't O.D. Also a reduction in crime like breaking and entering, and armed robberies reduce as-well. It's worth it to decriminalize in my opinion. Not for it to allow all addicts to O.D. and die off but either contain their addiction or seek help if they wish it.

Hindsight...correct on all counts...also..if legal...the tax $ made from the sale of legal drugs and the $ saved from law enforcement, judicial system, and prisons could be used to pay for treatment facilities for people who are addicts.

The ****** is something that has been around for a really long time.I don't condone it by any means. The bath salts and meth are the ones I have serious issues with. I can't figure out why people would put that stuff in there bodies. The drug issues around here are keeping people that need help from getting the help we need.
