Looks as if that tree has been ready to go for quite awhile from interior rot. Guess reverse gravity gave up today.

Betterdays
I saw in a recent article where Dave McKain is wanting to turn this home into something like Williamsburg. He needs to get some honest and professional opinions about the condition of the house and property before realizing that dream. I stopped by this summer when it was supposed to be open and it was closed. The yard was a mess with weeds growing every where and the house looked dingy. I miss the days when Mr. Ralson was there to over-see his homestead. Back then it looked original to the period.

I never understood why they installed this new black fence right up beside the white fence that was already there...at least get something that matches? I think the man upstairs spoke today that he doesn't like it either. This is par for the course for that place I guess: old log buildings with modern steel roofing, etc.

Gas for those chain saws is going up to $3.65 today. Are we tired of it yet?
