Catholic schools seek to raise standards

Save your money folks. Especially if your child is non Catholic, and you don't have a sad story to tell to get reduced tuition. The Catholic schools in Parkersburg have both went down the crapper, I'll be surprised if they are in "business", and make no mistake about it, it's all about the money they can make, in a few years.

GNPBURG is a hit n run commenter. The fact of the matter is, statistics show that Catholic schools consistently rank higher in education than public schools. Graduates of Catholic High are better prepared for secondary education than graduates of public schools and have a much higher per-capita rate of graduating secondary education than those with a public school background. Yes....Tuition costs for non-Catholics is higher than Catholics.

The class of 2012 received $2.2 million in Scholarships, and 100% of students went on to college. I think these statistics say it all.

Aaron, probably the reason why you're not hearing the "'special needs' BS" is because they are a PRIVATE school and not bound by the same rules as a PUBLIC school. Evidently, you missed that part.

That's right,they take care of their own and don't foist them off on the public to deal with. Obviously their programs work well.Ever consider converting? May help you caustic replay.
