i never once suggested to "delete this story" as you accuse me of. I said to let it rest.. do you REALLY think your comments on here are going to make a difference? Come on.. I said if you were so worried about it, try contacting them yourself, as you stated you have. So you can't get ahold on them on the phone? GO IN PERSON... no need to trash talk anyone on here..

nice name for me - "heavilyopinionated" lol what grade are we in again?

The poster does seem to have quite an interest,eh?

darkhorse, I think you may have told on yourself, about the popup ads. The ads are tailored to your interests, based on your recent browsing history. With certain webmail sites, they even pick key words out of your email and you'll get ads based on that. Right now I'm seeing tires and home loans, and probably since Netflix is mentioned in these posts, I have an ad for Netflix.

On the subject of antivirus, the free version of AVG blows Norton and McAfee pay services away, don't know why anyone buys those. I've used AVG Free to clean out Norton/McAfee equipped machines.

darkhorse let it rest... if you are so darn worried about this story and why nothing else has been published, why don't you call the paper yourself and find out? I'm sure they can tell you who owns it as well

i quote from what you said:

"I'm skeptical of this so called National computer library monitor"

you did NOT say the same thing as me. you said you were skepticle of it... i said the opposite... and i love how you call someone "foolish" because of a comment that you believe may have been misunderstood or taken wrong

darkhorse your comments are truly stupid.

to prove that they DO watch what you do online... i had a wireless router that i (yes stupidly) let one of my friend's have the password to. well, long story short they downloaded FIVE illegal copyrighted movies (no, not ****). the cable company was alerted that illegal movies were downloaded using MY router and my internet got shut off due to it.. so what i'm trying to say is that even though you may think they are not watching what you do online, they ARE

i think a better choice of verb could be used for this particular area..."checking", "investigating", or "researching" in light of where it occurred....and what was involved.
