To Namvet: Very well said! The Fine folks at the "Trailer Park on the Hill" in Lubeck, WV Central Environmental Service are dumping their sludge in Washington County, the problem is that nobody seems to care, or understand what this means. The lawyers won't touch it because there is no money to be made right now trying to stop the dumping. The Lawyers will wait a few years after the damage is done, then they will move in to make their millions. I personally hold the Wood county commission responsible becasue they understand what is in this "Brine" mixture but they will do nothing to stop this in the name of "Jobs". how pathetic. Stay tuned......

Those who think injection wells are so safe, should have one drilled next to their property and watch property values spiral to nothing. The boneheads drilling these wells don't care, because they don't live near the disposal sites.Pa.--WV.--NY do not allow disposal of fracking fluids,so why should Athens county become the dumping ground for others waste products. We can thank draft dodger Dick Cheney and Haliburton for this fiasco!!!!

Oh, because "Hill Jack" which works for Triad says it is safe, it mus be safe. 1st the experts were saying that trucking was safe, now they are exposing the truth about the high ratio of trucking accidents. First the local experts said that Brine was nothing more than sand and salt water, now they are saying that it is "Heavy Metals, Natural Radioactivity, and some chemicals". Where was the truth when the community was lulled into this Fracking scam.
