it's a no win cycle, when it comes to drugs, better to tax and regulate than to spend and incarcerate! not hatin on cops just my opinion, they have tough job 4 sure!

I agree with 101!

But "The Violent Crime Narcotics Task Force" will succeed only if they receive support from the citizens.

As I have reiterated on this sad subject before, the only solution to it is to reinstate the death penslty and immediately remove from the planet both the dealer and the user. Perhaps it will be a natzi effort to eliminate them, but in the long run, society as a whole will benefit.

I don't know if this problem will ever go away, but one thing is certain - the PD has ALL my support in their efforts to rid the city of this problem. Whatever it takes, do it. Ignore the bleeding hearts who cry that their "rights" may have been violated during arrest, incarceration, whatever. Big deal--they are drug making, drug using, drug selling, lying scum that would kill your family and steal all you have to get their drugs.

How about some of the slumlords who rent to these creepy-crawley things that make meth? If they would CHECK OUT their rentals once in a while, it may stop some of this crapola. Just a pop in visit--and if something stinks, throw their *** OUT!

Oh brother, you all know the word is *ss, behind, bottom, rear-end, keester (sp), gluteus maximus, hind quarter, hind end, you get the message.

I wish they would put them all on an uninhabited isle with all the stuff they need to make whatever, and ignore them. They will erradicate themselves in no time.

nearly one third of our society would disappear if hindsight 101 had their way...included in the ERADICATION would b some of the people hind puts on a high horse. Not all abusers are in the lower economic level. Crime rates non existent? What world do u live in? Think I'll go have a beer and look for a fight...

LOL@freerange...I'm so glad you pointed that out. People immediately assume that when terms like "users" and "dealers" are thrown out there, that the majority of those people can be found in the areas of town on which it's really easy to look down. Surprise...there are plenty of people in the higher economic bracket that are addicted to one substance or another, and use just as freely. Eradicate the users? What if that user were your child, your sibling, or your parent? It's not so easy to be so dismissive of them then. Not to mention, for the ones that have the prescription addictions, the majority of the time that addiction started from a legitimate prescription that the user was written for a legitimate ailment, and found that the addictive properties were more than they could handle. Happened to a family member of mine, and is one of those people that most would neeeeeever think would be an addict, much less a user. Careful when throwing around those ultimatums

If the doper is family, sorry, out you go. My family ostracized a member who was jailed for drunk driving, and lost his license forever. He is now clean and sober, and that is the ONLY reason he is back in the 'clan' again. If he had not cleaned up, he'd be out. If he falls again, out he goes.

People who get help for their drug problems, stay with the program, and get clean, that's one thing.

Mack-would you be so tolerant if your relative stole money from you and your family, took your car and wrecked it, stole your medication?

I certainly hope I'm not related to any of you. You are a bunch of closed minded bigots. Seriously? Kill all illegal drug users? You cant be serious. Not too long ago Alcohol was an illegal drug, but they saw that prohibition was clearly NOT working. By your rationale some of you would have been put to death. Alcohol IS a drug, just a socially acceptable one. It alters peoples minds just as much, if not more, than marijuana. How many deaths has marijuana caused in the last decade? Directly, none. Zero. Not one single death directly attributed to marijuana alone. Can the same be said of your legal alcohol? Nope. And lets not forget the problem of mental health. Do you know how many people use illegal drugs to self medicate? People with closed minded views are part of the reason mental health issues are so stigmatized in our society. I certainly hope none of your family members ever have any mental health issues, I'm sure you would see them as weak.

Lets kill them off too, shoot, they MUST be defective in some way. You are sounding pretty close to the Nazi ideas of a perfect society. Those who fail to learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. Clearly the lessons of Nazi atrocities have eluded you. And stop hiding behind fake screen names, cowards. If you have a strong opinion, stand up for it yourself, don't hide.

Most people have had a beer before they ever had a toke, does that make beer a gateway legal beverage?

I am thoroughly convinced that Hindsight 101 is a troll. Surely no one can be that ignorant and actually believe such things. Be careful wanting all mentally ill institutionalized, you may just find yourself locked up some day. Who decides who should be locked up? You? Depression is a mental illness, should we lock up all depressed people? Alcoholism is defined as a mental illness, lock them up too. A world without drugs or alcohol is also, sadly, a world without much art. A lot of artists have been inspired or under the influence when they came up with their paintings, or poems, or books, or music. Your ideal world sounds pretty bland.

if ignorance is bliss then hindsight must be the happiest person in the world. many of my friends that i served with in combat overseas, and were highly decorated i might add had a lot of trouble when we returned. the amount of alchoholism and self medication is phenomenal. these are men who earned purple hearts bronze stars etc. and now under your criteria they deserve death? you have no idea what you are talking about. these are men of a calibre you couldnt possibly comprehend. yet with our ptsd and other problems you would have us castogated? well i invite you to try any time you feel you are able and i will guarantee you i will use every bit of my extensive training and combat experience to aid in your reeducation.

what do you mean your friends? do you mean the brave soldiers i served with in combat? i dont remember seeing you over there with us. if you think some havent come back and struggled with ptsd and turned to drugs and alchohol to self medicate then you are just naive. you have obviously never served in combat for your country like i have or you would be well aware of the struggles we real veterans face. when you act like something you are not it is an insult to those of us who really did the fighting our country demanded of us. you sir are a fraud and a poser
