The new bridge is a great improvement to that area. But I do have a question for Brent Walker. He states that they want to plan the traffic patterns with concern for the businesses that are there, and that many of the businesses have been there for years. My question is...Why was not the same concern expressed for the businesses that were harmed when the new Rt. 50 was built? I'm specifically referring to the section just to the west side of I-77. Why was there no concern for Holiday Inn, who was forced out of business, and the others who still remain but have seen a great decline because the access to the location was greatly impeded? Those businesses were there for many years also. I know...that water passed under the bridge long ago. I just want to remind the folks who read this that the WVDOT is not always fair when it comes to some of their decision making. The WVDOT can rest on their laurels this time around, but they really screwed the others over royally.
