The level of stupid a person has to be to use crap such as this is just mind boggling!

I hope I never have any kind of run in with one of these idiots.

OMG! WHYYYYY would someone ingest this poison in any form?? It astounds me. Remember the guy in the Charleston area who got high on this crap, then sexually assaulted and killed the neighbor's pet goat while wearing women's lingerie? Well, he couldn't even be tried because his sanity was at question. He's at Sharpe Hospital for the time being...because of the damage inflicted by BATH SALTS. Wake up people!! This stuff is truly scary.

Early Dec. had a guy high on bath salts run his car into my house - let's see going down the street the wrong way, Oh tags living in WV, left the scene and the bath salts - he was ranting about his grandma being in the trunk??? running down 16th St. hollering and waving his arms over his head. Boy didn't even know what planet he was on. He was running loose a couple of days later saying man I was sure messed up the other day. You think?

Wow, BakerKat, THAT is scary. That's what this crap does to people...literally puts them out of their minds!! You can be some average schmoe with no violent tendencies whatsoever, take a hit of that nasty chemical compound and alter your reality, and find yourself doing horrible things that you never knew you were capable of doing. Happens all the time! At least that guy was able to return to some sense of normalcy. There are those who have never, and will never, regain their former sanity because those bath salts have so irreparably damaged their brains. Sad, and again, scary.

Quit running these people to the hospital and trying to save their lives. Let them go to wherever the drug takes them. If that place is death, so be it. If these dummies don't care enough for their own well being to stay away from this stuff, why should anyone else care what happens to them? When the drug pushers are caught selling this poison, it should be a mandatory death sentence. We are far too tolerant when it comes to drugs, with both the seller and the user. The seller supplies it to the user, and the user is a danger to society when out on the street under the influence of this crap. We need to get our communities back from these fools before their careless use of drugs kills the rest of us.

What's particularly scary about this drug is the danger that it presents to the average, unknowing citizen. This is not a case of someone smoking a little dope and getting a case of the munchies. These are cases of people having true psychosis brought on by this poison, and the innocent citizen being affected by it. BakerKat's house, for example, and that guy out of his mind screaming about his grandmother being in the trunk...what if that guy was in possession of a weapon (as if one were really needed in addition to the car) while in his psychotic state? The guy with the goat in the Charleston area...another example. I believe the guy in FL who chewed off the homeless guy's face was also on bath salts. These are crazy, outlandish, awful behaviors all due to hallucinogenic, mind-altering, psychosis-provoking poisons coursing through someone's body, putting society as a whole in serious danger.

How someone can read the article and disagree with what I just said is beyond me... You must be on bath salts yourself.

Mack....I agree with you wholeheartedly. You are right, this is not like someone smoking a joint and being in a calm state of euphoria, not really harming anyone else. Bath salts turn the user into a maniacal demon that has very little or no control over their own actions. That presents a huge problem for both you and I, and all of those we care about. We need to take a very tough stance on this poison before an innocent person is injured or killed by one of these fools that consume it.

Only one solution for this dangerous hazard to the good people that count that need protection from these amoral low life miscreants: Put both the discovered manufacturer and the dangerous user to death by torture.

Mack76,those who would disagree with your comments are most likely users as well. These dangerous, irrational and addicted aberrations need to be successfully targeted for immediate termination.

Well, someone has systematically disagreed with the majority of the statements on here which tells me either (a) user actively high on bath salts or (b) just a site troll looking to make waves. I suppose (c) all of the above could be a viable explanation as well.

Look around folks--Most of the home invasions--stealing--murders,etc. are all dope related. Many elderly people are afraid to even go to sleep at night in their own homes, for fear of some dopehead misfit breaking in at 4:00am and beating or killing them for a few dollars or their meds.Frankly,i am sick and tired of hearing about all of this dope and the lazy, worthless morons who want to get "HIGH"****e on my property with ill intent and "HIGH" be advised--I don't call 911.

I agree, they should've been left to whatever happened to them.Chances are now their medical bills will be paid for by the taxpayers, along with all the other assistance they're already receiving.

hindsight once again proves to be an idiot. Gateway drug? Really we are still referring to pot as a gateway drug? People make a choice, how about we start holding them accountable for these choices. I know for a fact that three of these individuals participated in the DARE program growing up. Stop blaming the drugs and hold people accountable for their actions!

Thank you for the clarification COOL BEANS!!!!!! Yes you are very correct about me enjoying legal and religiously federal exonerated sacramental herbs. I finally feel free from the slavery that binds others. Have no fear contact your reps and tell them to support MIKE MANYPENNY and his MMJ bill so police can have more resources to handle the dangerous poisons like bathsalts and Meth. Mike will be introducing a bill this year again and has gained support from those in the house seeing he had been re-elected after introducing this bill 2 years prior. BTW emulation is the most sincere form of flattery him and Bobby must miss me and I'd say he used my name to stroke Bobby's ego or something like that. They miss me so much. LMBO. Rolling up a sacramental stick now thinking and praying for your freedom next.

The availability of the drug is obviously overwhelming! Why isnt PPD looking more into where its being sent from AND WHERE ITS BEING DELIVERED TO...its not like ppl are making bath salts....that would b a lingo/drug i believe called meth... Its absolutely amazing what the town I always knew of as home has become and looks like is far from over.. a place I dont want to be... I once lived in FL and moved back to raise my daughter in a "more safe environment" which was my home town...I cant say that so much anymore...GET THE SUPPLIERS AND THEN USERS OUT OF OUR*****TOWN WE KNOW AS HOME.... DONT SLAP THEM ON THE HAND AND LET THEM GO..GET THEM CLEAN THEN PUNISH THEM FOR THE CRIME..THEY MAY THEN KNOW OR HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT WHERE WHEN AND WHY THIS IS HAPPENING TO THEM AND LOCK THEM UP AWAY FROM THE TOWN WE ALL USED TO CALL OUR SAFE HOME!!!!

It would be helpful if these nimrods would just overdose to the point of death. It would save those of us who actually pay taxes from having to support their sorry excuses for lives.

Why would anyone ever want to shoot, snort, smoke or ingest anything that will cause you to be in a state of psychosis??? Seeing demons, paranoia, delusions?? I want to know why their names are not being released?? Everyone else that commits a crime or buys, sells or does drugs is published in the news so why not them? Could it be because a couple of them are not from a poor family? Anna, Rich, Chelsea and unknown!!!!!!
