Just a word of caution for those heading out for their flu shot this year; I've never had an adverse reaction to one.. even the very first flu shot when they warned me that since it was my first, it would make my arm sore for a few day and feel like I was slightly ill. My arm was only 'tender' for a few hours and never felt sick, even the first time. This time, I've felt bad for days and today I woke up with a sinus infection. Could entirely be the chemistry of each individual or coincidence, but you might want to prepare for this one, just in case. I sure wish I had all my shopping and tings around the house taken care of for this week before I had THIS shot! Still feel horrible and even arm is still sore from elbow up into neck.

The local news just will not stop until we have a full blown flu pandemic in the area. I guess they are still mad at how the whole swine flu thing petered out.
