Marietta Music in the Park

The Marietta Welfare League will begin its annual Music in the Park series on June 5 at the gazebo in East Muskingum Park along Front Street in downtown Marietta.
The series will offer free concerts at 7 p.m. each Thursday through Aug. 28. The venue is open air and has lawn seating only. Guests should bring their favorite blanket or lawn chair, snacks, friends and plan for an enjoyable evening featuring great music along the beautiful river front.
The first act will be Bruce Haas performing a variety of original, rock and country mix at 7 p.m. June 5.
The Marietta Welfare League is a volunteer organization for women in Marietta and Washington County. The organization helped raise the funds to build the gazebo in 1985 and since has supported local talent through the free summer concert series.
