Diabetes Education Classes

Free diabetes education class will be offered to residents of Jackson County through Bayer Healthcare.
Being offered in collaboration with the Jackson County Health Department, the classes will be taught by Barbara Smith, a certified diabetes instructor. Sessions will begin at 6:30 and last for one hour and be held at the Health Department.
The series begins on June 12 with "Know Your Numbers." The following classes will include "Know Your Nutrition" on June 26, "Know Your Healthy Steps" on July 10 and "Know Your Diabetes Care Team" on July 17.
Individuals may register for all or one of the sessions. Registration is limited for each. For more information or to register, call Amy Haskins at 372-2634.
