Holgorsen's Tuesday presser

November 1, 2011 - Jim Butta
First-year WVU head football coach Dana Holgorsen spoke highly of the contributions of two Parkersburg-natives in the Mountaineers' 41-31 win over Rutgers last Saturday.

"He (Molinari) was huge. Huge. It starts with the snap, which one of the most underrated guys on our team. Cody Nutter is a senior and he's been perfecton his snaps for eight games on PAT/field goals and punts. It starts with him. Molinari has done a wonderful job of identifying when they're coming and when they're not coming and gauging how much time he's got and then pinning it inside the 10 and getting it downfield. It's been huge. It goes back to the handling of the ball. It was challenging last week. He did a great job."

Also seeing a lot of playing time was former-Parkersburg High standout Matt Lindamood, who has apparently recovered from a leg injury that had sidelined him for several games this season.

WVU's noon game against Louisville has been designated as the Big East's Game of the Week and will be televised locally. ESPN has also executed its six-day option on the Mountaineers' road game at Cincinnati next Saturday. That game time will be announced on Sunday, Nov. 6.
