A genie is found by an antiques dealer in "Best Wishes Always" by Lucy Finn.
Larrie Smith is a dealer who is trying to get over the death of her fiancee. She is intrigued by an estate sale, epsecially one in which the owner was entrusted to sell all of the fantastic belongings only to a 'Larry.' This enangers a New York dealer named Van, who is looking for a particular treasure in the collection. He is determined to win Larrie over and get closer to the antiques.
But Larrie has found something else in amongst the antiques - a magic lamp with a real genie inside! Only this genie has a British accent and a hot body, complete with the requisite three wishes. But the manipulative genie wants to be freed and is determined to have Larrie help him. By steering her toward a wish to travel back in time, he takes her back to his own time period in India and the only way back is to wish her way! Meanwhile, Larrie's seeing another side to Jo the genie. Will she even want to go back?
A romance with a magical twist, this is a breezy story of fun, exotic locales, and hot hunks who can only be freed by true love.
