How to Score by Robin Wells

A woman gets advice from her "life coach" who turns out to be an FBI agent in disguise in "How to Score" by Robin Wells.

Sammi Matthews has an interesting problem. Since her last boyfriend cheated on her, anytime she meets a guy she likes now, she ends up injuring him. Her tally so far has been broken bones and black eyes. Plus, she seems to be a doormat for a lot of people. A friend has foisted a leather-addicted dog on her, the woman she was hired to replace at the museum won't leave and her landlord won't sell her the house or give her a rental contract. All of this is overwhelming her, so she turns to calling a popular life coach for help.

Except the life coach on the other end of the phone isn't Luke Jones, it's his brother, Chase. Chase accidentally sent Luke to a pizzaria where he ended up witnessing a hit and is sent to Witness Protection until after the trial. In his absense, Chase is covering his clients since they sound so much alike over the phone. He's intrigued by Sammi and sets up a "chance" meeting with her in a park. But Chase finds he's no exception to the injury rule as seeing Sammi leads him to be mauled by her dog on more than one occassion, getting a concussion, and even getting shot at, though that is more to do with what his brother witnessed and less to do with Sammi. With "Luke" on the other end of the phone trying to help her straighten out her dating problems with Chase, the impersonation is getting way over Chase's head, especially since he really likes Sammi. When he finally admits to the masquerade, will she ever be able to forgive him?

This is a very funny romance, full of laugh out loud moments sure to bring a smile to your face. And the warm romance is going to make temperatures rise this summer!

"How to Score" is published by Warner Forever, a division of Grand Central Publishing. It is $6.99 and 384 pages long.
