Where is one safe?

While the feds are contemplating allowing those who hold a valid state license to carry a concealed weapon to carry that firearm for their own protection in federal parks and refuges, it ironically would seem people are not even safe in their own churches.

There would seem to be a reason for one to wonder about personal safety when roaming around in the middle of nowhere in a large federal park and potentially want to carry a firearm for protection. If the states recognize the issue of personal safety and issue a permit for one to carry a concealed weapon, it seems only logical (but then again when did logic ever enter the realm of the federal government) for the feds to go along and recognize that permit ... as well as the potential danger of being alone in a huge federal park.

Considering the number of crazy people that have entered businesses, post offices, courthouses, schools ... and now churches, firing on whomever was in the line of fire, one wonders when and if anyone is ever safe. If youáre not safe in church, why the heck are you safe?

It would be a sad day for society when concealed weapons have to be carried into a church service for fear of being attacked while seated in a pew or watching your children perform in a church play.

Sadly, society seems to be dropping deeper and deeper into the pit of despair. Where will it end?
