Crime more noticeable than billboard?

Readers in the past two days have blogged our story about Keith Burdette, president of the Wood County Development Authority, complaining about a billboard by Hino Motors in Williamstown urging Japanese investment at a Washington County industrial park. Maybe the Japanese are more concerned with the Washinton County man charged with killing his girlfriend and another Washington County man charged with stabbing an ex-girlfriend, both occurring on Tuesday, than they are of the billboard.
