Mancini's Commentaries

POSTED:Thu, June 26, 2008 @ 7:28AM

Oh East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet.

I'm not criticizing, but I did notice this. Wood County Republican Party Chairman Bev Lockhart wrote a letter to council about a city charter change and sent it to Mayor Bob Newell and Republican Councilmen Tom Joyce, D. Bradley Kimes, Jim Knapp, Mike Reynolds and Sharyn Tallman. The letter didn't go to Democratic Councilmen Dorsey Cheuvront, Demosthenes Dukas and Jim Myers or to independent Don Godfrey. I guess, with apologies to Rudyard Kipling, that east is east, and west is west, and never the twain shall meet.
