Manchin to make announcement in P-burg

West Virginia Gov. Joe Manchin is scheduled to be in Parkersburg at 10 a.m. Friday for an announcement about economic development. He will be at SW Resources at 1007 Mary St. The governor is always welcome when he brings good news. The question is will Manchin be on time. Several attendees of the opening of the Blennerhassett Island Bridge on June 13 were upset that they had to wait in unbearable heat for the ceremony to begin until the governor arrived, which was 30 minutes behind schedule.
