Methods of Distraction

POSTED:Thu, February 21, 2008 @ 8:55AM

Finally

With the Hollywood writers back in business, new episodes of our favorite shows will start kicking out in the next month. I was pleased to see all but "Pushing Daisies" on my "must watch" list will be back to have at least a little more of a semi regular season before the summer hiatus. The only comeback that upsets me is that "House" will be off with the bad, non watchable episodes of American Idol until late April. Staying clear of most reality shows, I have been away from network television for a long while and have no idea was worthless dribble has been filling in for sitcoms and dramas. But this switch to mindless reality shows does beg the question of whether the strike was the beginning of the end for intelligent shows. I certainly hope not. Also, is anyone but me not surprised "Bionic Woman" has been nixed by NBC?
