Rich Rodriguez' Arizona Wildcats

July 30, 2013 - Jay Bennett
Sometimes one has to give credit where credit is due.

Such is the case for former Glenville State College and West Virginia University head football coach Rich Rodriguez.

Although his stint in Michigan didn't go exactly as planned, things went awfully well for his Wildcats of Arizona last football season.

Rich-Rod was able to finish 8-5, win a bowl game and upset USC.

While his former stomping grounds of Gilmer County and Glenville just had a small earthquake today, Rich-Rod's boys are hoping to make a little bigger rumble this season on the college football landscape.

For anyone who hasn't had a chance to check this preseason video out on the Wildcats, I'd have to call it a keeper!

Wife Rita was the executive producer of Hard Edge II, while son Rhett and daughter Raquel were the technical directors.

I guess they had an early version out on this which wasn't as good, but this is the only one I've seen so I'm leaving it at that.

RichRod was always a good coach....as noted, things didn't work out in Michigan. He didn't deserve the hatred from the WVU fans no more than West Virginia deserved the hatred on Twitter.
