Methods of Distraction

POSTED:Tue, February 12, 2008 @ 1:27PM

Back again

Sorry I've been gone. Illness hit the newsroom and myself.

In response to my last post, I should have mentioned that I only watch the first few weeks of Idol to see the people dive bomb and brought back to reality. Now, I've been re-hooked on Lost. I know the show has lost a large number of viewers in the past two seasons, and I was one of them until recently. With the Writer's Strike finally finished and many shows going back into production, I'm hoping my new favorite, Pushing Daisies, sees the light of day with some new episodes.

Now, on to this week: Thriller. Yes, I know Michael Jackson should be certified and locked away, but it is honestly the best pop album to be released. It is the one and only album I have left on vinyl (maybe CareBears, too...) and I no longer own a turntable, but I refuse to get rid of the record. It's mine and always will be. Is anyone else happy Thriller has held it's top spot and has been revamped to appeal to younger generations? Maybe it's just me.

Yes, it's just you!!! It's a shame, but any talent he may have had at one time, has all been erased.

I've never been a huge fan of Michael Jackson, sorry.
