MOV Chamber: Last call for award nominations

Each year, the MOV Chamber gathers members for an evening reflecting on the past year. This year’s Annual Dinner & Awards Banquet will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14 at the Parkersburg Art Center. The most exciting portion of the Annual Dinner is the time we spend honoring and recognizing area businesses for their accomplishments over the past year.

This year at the MOV Chamber Annual Dinner, we will recognize eight area businesses and individuals for their accomplishments over the past year in the following categories:

New Business of the Year

Curb Appeal / Property Improvement Award

Community Involvement Award

Non-Profit Organization of the Year

Small Business of the Year

Chamber Volunteer of the Year

Young Business Leader of the Year

Business Person of the Year

It is now time to start thinking of those in the Mid-Ohio Valley that you would like to nominate for one of these esteemed awards.

The nomination form is live on the MOV Chamber website at www.movchamber.org under the Events tab. Nominations should be made based on the appropriate category. Our winners will be selected by our Special Events committee after reviewing each entry. Preference will be given to current members of the MOV Chamber. The most current member listing can be found on our website under “Member Directory” if you want to review whether your nominee is a member of our Chamber. Self-nominations are also accepted.
