Ice cream social planned

The 9th annual Ice Cream Social to benefit Special Olympics and the Beverly Masonic Foundation Charities is today, Sunday, August 12 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in Dodge Park in Beverly. The menu includes all you can eat sloppy joes, brats, hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, potato and macaroni salads, pie, pop and water, and ice cream from Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl will be available for the cost of a donation. Magician Dale Wheeler will be performing with music being provided by DJ Dangerous Vision. Come enjoy the food and fun and support a worthy cause!



These Beverly-Center Elementary School students, gearing up for a new school, were honored at the end of the 2017-2018 school year by being named to the All Year Honor Roll for earning A’s and B’s for the entire school year.

Kindergarten mastering all 20 Superskills were: Noah Armstrong, Arabella Beasley, Bailee Binegar, Karlie Campbell, Ella Duskey, Cohen Dyar, Quinten Henry, Zakia Holliday, Niyah Horner, Karsyn Huck, Heather Long, Brooklynne Meek, Brodie Petty, Eli Phillis, Ian Sampson, Taytum Skinner, Luke Stottsberry, Spencer Thieman, Raeleigh Warden, Raylan Wickham, and Audrey Witten.

Earning All A’s all year were: First Grade — Owen Duskey, Clinton Erb, Jantzyn Huck, Ethan Jones, Jude Kehl, Spencer Long, Payton McCurdy, Addie Schob, and Ekko Strode; Second Grade — Abigail Bishman, Wade Duskey, Wyatt Erb, Kya Kehl, Harrison Miller, and Lukus Phillis; Third Grade — Everett Sampson; Fourth Grade — Peyton Bell, Chatum Courson, Julia Harper, Caiden McCurdy, Reiley Miller, and Natalie Wakefield; Fifth Grade — Camryn Huck, Gianna Kasun, Treven Nicholson, Hayley Shaffer, Julia Silvus, and Laine Spindler; Sixth Grade — Graham Baker, Brandon Dye, Aubrey McIntire, Ross Schultheis, Phinn Spindler, and Matthew Wayne.
