Welcoming one new business after another

On Monday, April 30 we welcomed DiCarlo’s Pizza to their new location in downtown Parkersburg, 327 Juliana Street. Their new location allows them to reach a wider market in Parkersburg and Belpre, while still having a Vienna presence. ‘The Vienna location sees a lot of carryout,” she said. “We’d like to be a part of the lunch crowd” in Parkersburg. The restaurant will also be within walking distance of downtown events, such as Parkersburg Homecoming and the Point Park Concert Series. ??Prior to DiCarlo’s ribbon cutting, owner Shannon Hartshorn talked with us about their style of pizza. They have two types of pizza they offer, your typical melted cheese and warm toppings pizza or DiCarlo’s style, where the cheese and toppings are put on the pizza after it bakes. Any way you get it, you are sure to be satisfied.

When you walk into their new location, the neon sign grabs your attention and you slowly take in all the history that is showcased around you. Head over to DiCarlo’s Pizza today! Too busy to get out of the house or step away from the desk, they deliver! ??We love welcoming new businesses to downtown and having the community get involved as well. On Friday, May 18 at 1 PM, we will be having a ribbon cutting for The Rustic House located in the Point Park Marketplace. The Rustic House recently moved from their location in Vienna to Parkersburg! Come to the Marketplace for lunch at one of their many eateries and help us welcome The Rustic to downtown at their ribbon cutting.

Downtown PKB promotes downtown Parkersburg, fosters economic opportunity and creates community vitality. The goal is to create a vibrant commercial district that will provide downtown businesses, workers and nearby residents with the goods and services they need, as well as create educational, entertainment and tourism opportunities.
