Polar Express fun run scheduled
Everyone is invited to Beverly-Center Elementary School’s Polar Express 5K Fun Run and Walk on December 2. Sponsored by the Beverly-Center PTO, race registration begins at 8 a.m. and the race steps off at 9. Entrance fee is $10 per person or $35 for a family. (A ‘family’ can be a group of up to six participants at this price and it is asked that all teams be members of the same household.) Participants are invited to wear their favorite pajamas of dress in a Christmas or Polar Express costume. Prizes will be awarded to individuals and families for the best costumes and PJs. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served, and all participants will receive a sleigh bell – not to mention the chance of a visit by a special ‘someone’! In addition, the Scholastic Book Fair will be open at 8 a.m. at the elementary school.
There are three ways to complete registration for the run/walk. You can send your completed registration form and check, payable to Beverly-Center PTO, to Beverly-Center PTO, P.O. Box 1028, Beverly, OH 45715; register online at https://raceentry.com/race-reviews/polar-express-fun-run-and-walk; or register the day of the race. Registration deadline is Monday, November 30.
The race begins and ends in front of Fort Frye High School. Prize winners will be announced in front of Beverly-Center Elementary school following the race. Any questions? Please contact MJ Williams at email@example.com.
All proceeds benefit the Beverly-Center Elementary School PTO.
