Summer feeding program continues
July may be winding down quickly, but the Washington Morgan Community Action Summer Feeding Program wants to remind area families the program continues through August 15.
The program, which offers free lunches and weekend meal packs to children ages 1 – 18, is still operating at Dodge Park in Beverly. All that is needed is a phone call to the Action center at 740-373-3455 to reserve a daily meal.
Lunches are served Monday through Friday from 11:45 – 12:45 with activities to follow. Weekend Pack Meals are also available by calling the above number. These packs include 2 breakfasts, 4 lunch/dinner meals, and 2 milks.
All meals must be pre-ordered and the child must be present to receive the packed weekend meals. These lunches are free and available to all children. Call the Washington Morgan Community Action center for more information.
