Fred and Lois McInturf celebrated their 35th year wedding anniversary March 30, with a week’s vacation in Las Vegas, where they visited the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon South Rim and saw many shows like Elton John and Cirque du Soleil-Beatles Live.

They also visited the Pawn Stars (Pawn Shop on History Channel) and met and shook hands with Richard Harrison Sr. (old man as his son calls him – we called him Mr. Harrison).

We also visited Ricks Restorations and Counts Customs. Both shops featured on the History Channel.

While waiting at the airport in Los Angeles, on the return trip, Wednesday, April 2, Fred ran into his old Phys Ed. and Driver’s Ed Teacher Doug Nelson, who is also a Morgan County native.

We had an interesting discussion on the plane trip back to Columbus, as we hadn’t seen each other in 30 years.
