Church to hold Vacation Bible School activities
Vacation Bible School will be held Friday, Oct. 25, from 6-8:30 p.m. at Pennsville United Methodist Church. On Saturday, Oct. 26, from 4-6:30 p.m. Hayride and Weiner Roast afterward. These activities will be held at Pennsville with Todds also being involved with all the activities and K-6 grades are invited to attend.
Trick and Treat will be held Thursday, Oct. 31, from 6-7 p.m.
Weiner Roast sponsored by Pennsville Volunteer Fire Department at the fire house.
The firemen are raffling off a CVA Accra, 50 Caliber 209 Magnum, Stainless/Real Tree Apg (Thumbhole). Drawing will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, $1 each or six for $5 at the fish fry.
Fish Fry sponsored by Pennsville Volunteer Fire Department will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m. to ? Donations of pies and cakes would be greatly appreciated. Adults $9, Children $5, under 3 free.
Last week at the Fairfield County Fair, Maya and Meredith Yerian of Lancaster area entered rabbits in the fair. Meredith was placed and she sold her rabbit for $200. Maya Yerian received $700. Meredith placed third in floral arrangements.
Maya went hunting with her father, Jason Yerian, and he got a deer and Maya got a squirrel. Mary Yerian is the girl’s great-grandmother.
Ronnie Yerian has returned from Utah where he and three friends went elk hunting. They didn’t harvest any but had a good time.
On Saturday, Mary and Gretchen Yerian visited with Mae Milhoan.
Beverly Sidwell visited Mae Milhoan on Sunday.
Bev and Rob Sidwell went to the OU Homecoming on Saturday. They also went shopping in Athens.
Shelley Mason talked to her mother that this weather had cooled down and everyone was enjoying it.
