Church to hold food pantry

Food pantry will be held at 9:30-11 a.m. Monday at the Church of Christ.

Taxable items will be given to those in need Monday from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Pennsville United Methodist Church.

Pennsville Volunteer Fire Department will meet at 8 p.m. Monday at the firehouse.

The Pennsville United Methodist Women will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 10 at the church. Beverly Sealock will present the program and response moment.

Leo, Dorothy and Jacqueline Clark went to Old Man’s Cave and Ash Cave one day last week.

Visitors of Mary Yerian of Glouster on Saturday. Her daughter, Mary Jane Campbell and her granddaughter, Nancy Jane Campbell of West Union. Nancy started at Ohio University on a full scholarship for five years. Her aunt, Mae Milhoan, is very proud of her. Shelby Mason of Lubbock, Texas, calls her mother every night and she states that it’s been 90 degrees every day for quite a long time.

On Saturday, Bev Sidwell took Mae Milhoan to Athens for shopping. They went to the Farmer’s Market and White’s Mill for bird seed. This past week, Victor Slowter and helpers, mowed Mae’s yard and they also picked up limbs and mowed along the county highway. All this Mae appreciated very much.

On Thursday, Mike Yerian of Athens, came to his grandmother, Mary Yerian’s home and did repair work on her porches.
