UM Women to meet

Pennsville VFD Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the home of Rose Welsh.

Pennsville United Methodist Women will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the fellowship room at the church. Programs for the year will be planned for 2013. If the weather isn’t good, it will be canceled and members will be notified.

Pennsville United Methodist Church Board will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the fellowship room.

Food give-away will be 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Jan. 14 at the Church of Christ.

Taxable items will be given to those in need at 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Jan. 14 at Pennsville United Methodist Church.

Pennsville Volunteer Fire Department will meet at 8 p.m. Jan. 14, at the firehouse.

Mary Yerian of Glouster and Gretchen Yerian of Newcomerstown went to West Union to the home of Mary Jane and Nancy Campbell for Nancy Jane’s birthday.

Bev Sidwell spent Monday evening with her mother, Mae, and her and she and Rob spent Tuesday with her.

Shelley Mason of Lubbock, Texas, has been calling every day telling her the weather in Texas.

One day it was 17 degrees, the next day it was 64 degrees. They have been having dust storms and high wind.

On Saturday, Bev and Rob Sidwell went to Ohio University to attend a ball game. Ohio University won the game.

The children of the late John and Hazel Haines, had a Christmas Eve get together at the home of Jim and Darlene Haines.

James and Beverly Sealock were dinner guests on Christmas Day at the home of Robert, Sherri and Alex Maxwell.
