Stick with entertainment
One of my favorite Winston Churchill quotes is, “Never try to teach a pig to sing. It is a waste of time, and it annoys the pig.” Believe it or not, this quote has some relevance today, at least to my mind.
When I survey the feeding frenzy that has turned the left coast entertainment industry from “Hollywood” to “Harveywood,” I ask myself, “by what right do these hypocrites presume to tell the rest of the country [the fly-over areas] how we should live our lives?” Should moral bankruptcy be our watchword?
I think not.
So — sort out your problems and keep on making movies and TV shows and so forth to entertain we, the ignorant masses, but don’t give us directions on how we should live — or think. You haven’t the credentials for it.
[Yes, I admit to a certain amount of schadenfreud with regard to the Liberal blowup. And I readily admit, it does me no credit. But, boy, does it feel good!]
